Following this introduction, TEADAL has also been added to the DSSC community of relevant initiatives and stakeholders. TEADAL works in data sharing in the common European data spaces and aims to strengthen Europe’s data analytics capacity (funded under HE Cluster 4 – 2021/2022 – Data – 01). TEADAL will enable the creation of trusted, verifiable, and energy-efficient data flows, both inside a data lake and across federated data lakes, based on a shared approach for defining, enforcing, and tracking data governance requirements with specific emphasis on privacy/confidentiality.

DSSC, funded by the European Commission as part of the Digital Europe Program, the Data Spaces Support Centre is aimed at the public sector and companies that want to create sovereign data spaces. DSSC will explore the needs of data space initiatives, define common requirements and establish best practices to accelerate the formation of sovereign data spaces as a crucial element of digital transformation in all areas.

In the first stage, the DSSC will focus on engaging with European initiatives and programs, including relevant data initiatives, research and innovation projects contributing to data spaces, Artificial Intelligence, cloud-to-edge, High Performance Computing initiatives, European Digital Innovation Hubs, and skills initiatives under the Digital Europe Program.
